He was born in Quincy, Florida to the late Norman and Delia Rudd. He joined the Marine Corps and is a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the Marines in the 3rd Marines, 3rd Battalion. Larry is preceded in death by his beloved son, Brian and is survived by his wife Donna, daughters Holly (Mike), Susan (Hugh), four grandchildren, siblings Ida Pearl and Alicia May, and many beloved friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at the Jacksonville National Cemetery. Donations may be made in his honor to the Make a Wish Foundation, St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Nemours Children’s Hospital.
