Lauren Virginia Hudson was born on July 2, 1991 to Lucretia and Henry Hudson in Jacksonville, FL. She graduated with honors from Ed White High School in June 2009 and was currently attending Florida State College at Jacksonville majoring in Social Work. Her favorite pass time was shopping at Walmart and having lunch with her mom at Applebee’s and Red Lobster. Lauren had a passion for reading and all genres of music. Lauren was affectionately known as her dad’s “Little Princess”.
On Sunday, March 25, 2018, our hearts were saddened by the sudden loss of our beloved Lauren Virginia Hudson. She was preceded in death by her parental grandparents, Virginia and Henry Hudson, Sr. and uncles Christopher Jackson and Darren De Hayes.
Lauren’s memory will always be cherished by her parents, Lucretia and Henry Hudson. Her maternal grandparents, Gwendolyn and John Jackson Jr., aunts, Cossett (Tony) Basilo, Nancy Wilson, Iris Collins and Yvette Pettiford, uncles, Virgil Hudson, Derry Hudson, and Jeffrey (Shirlett) Hudson and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation for friends and family will be held at Hardage-Gidden Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home on Saturday, March 31, 2018 from 2 pm - 4 pm. A celebration of Life Service will begin at 4 pm
