Lawrence was married to the late Wanda K. Hartinger. He was a veteran and retired from King Provision as a truck driver and yard man. Lawrence also enjoyed helping out at Trinity Baptist Church.
He was survived by step-daughter Kimberly Lindsey; siblings Eleanor Morrissey, June Marropodi, Anne Berger and Thomas Hartinger; sister-in-law Vickie Hudgins; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Lawrence went to join his wife Wanda Hartinger; sister Louise Boyce; brothers Thomas Hartinger and Francis Hartinger; mother Marie Hartinger; father Francis J. Hartinger; and brother-in-law Sonny Marropodi.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 9, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. Funeral Services will be at the funeral home the same day at 12:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205.
