Lennie is preceded in death by her parents; Brewster and Carrie Brooks, two sons; Eddie Ray and Bruce Rhoden, grandson Billy Ray Rhoden, and great-grandson Luke Burnsed.
She is survived by two daughters; Karen (Joe) Carter and Vickie (Harold) Lorick, and one son; David (Jackie) Rhoden. She also leaves eleven grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren to carry on her legacy.
Lennie dedicated her life to making her house into a home for the family that she loved so dearly. Every member was special to her, and she to them. More than anything else Lennie loved being a grandmother.
A visitation will be held in honor of Lennie on Saturday September 22, 2018, at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL. 32205, with a funeral service to follow.
Brother Jimmy Haines will be officiating.
The family appreciates all of the love, compassion and care shown to Lennie during her stay at Macclenny Nursing and Rehab, and Community Hospice.
