Leonard Eugene Danahoo

Leonard Eugene Danahoo, age 75, passed away in Jacksonville, FL on June 10, 2023. He was born in St. Augustine, FL on July 1, 1947 to Fred Thomas Danahoo and Margaret Mary Danahoo. He was an Army Vietnam veteran and a Purple Heart Recipient. He married Bettie Jean Mathews on April 2, 1983.

Mr. Danahoo worked as a cement truck driver in the construction industry, but he really enjoyed fishing, NASCAR racing, watching television programs about war, westerns, and wrestling.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Bettie Jean Danahoo; sister, Kathryn Rainey; daughter, Dawn Marie Mullee (Eddie); sons, Tony Klinkowicz (Angela) and Shawn Klinkowicz; 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.

Preceded in death by parents, Fred and Margaret Danahoo; 5 brothers; 2 sisters; son, Johnny Goodwin; and grandson, Austin Goodwin.

A visitation for Leonard will be held Monday, June 19, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A funeral service will occur Monday, June 19, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A graveside service will occur Monday, June 19, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
