

Lenny is survived by his wife Lawanda Marlene Sadler, children Joseph Malcom Calhoun his wife Jennifer Calhoun, Jason Earl Sadler his wife Susan Sadler and Grandaughters Sarah Nicole Kingsley and Saige Autumn Sadler. He is also survived by siblings Judith Benner, Lloyd Kerr, Randy Kerr and Lyndell Kerr. He is preceded in death by daughter Kellie Lanae Paddgett, brother David Earl Kerr, father and mother Earl T. Kerr and Arva Lee Kerr.
Lenny was born on October 2nd 1944 in Dauphin County PA, A southern by heart Lenny found his way to Florida early in his life. Lenny Served in the United States Army 82nd Army Airborne Division from 1969 thru 1971. Lenny was a true patriot in every way and loved his country. Lenny also loved to volunteer at his local VFW post 7909. Not to be forgotten was Lenny's love for Florida State Football and bled garnet and gold!! "GO NOLES''!!
Lenny worked most of his career as a truck driver for various companies over the years. He ended his driving career hauling The United States Mail for 20 plus years after numerous health setbacks. Previous to that Lenny drove for RPS, and Owens Corning for many years. Lenny was a hard working man who worked many holidays and weekends along with birthdays and anniversaries to provide for his wife and children.
Lenny was an accomplished horse rider and trainer throughout his life. He had a great passion for everything the western lifestyle had to offer. From horses, to rodeos, trucks, country music and an occasional late night at the Honky-Tonk. Lenny truly loved his lifestyle but even more than all those things he loved his family the most. Everything Lenny did throughout his life was to make the lives of the ones he loved as comfortable as possible. Lenny was a loving family man, he loved his friends, family and extended family along with many nieces and nephews. Anyone who had a love or friendship with Lenny truly understands what a loving person he was once who got through the rough exterior, and valued that love and was honored to have known him.
A funeral is scheduled for Wednesday March 9th 2022 at Hardage-Giddens Funeral at 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville Fl 32205. The viewing will be at 10am with a service following at 11am. There will be a reception to follow at the family home. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Lenny's life.
