Lillian Miles Sheffield

Mrs. Lillian Alice Sheffield (Miles) passed peacefully at her home on March 3, 2018 in Hilliard, Florida at the age of 81. Lillian is survived by her six children: Joseph Sheffield Jr. (Rita), Donald Sheffield Sr. Robert Sheffield (Jessie), Kathryn Turner (Kevin), Patricia Gee (Mike) and Sandra Lawson (Glenn); fourteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by husband of 48 years, Joseph Sheffield Sr.; grandson Nathan Bishop; and great grandson, Liam Osterhout.

Lillian was born April 23, 1936 in West Florida to Sion Charlton Miles and Fannie Mae McNeil. She married her high school sweetheart April 9, 1953. Lillian was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will always be remembered for her love of flowers and hummingbirds. Her family was her greatest joy in life.

Visitation will be held from11:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday March 10, 2018 at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 12:00pm along with burial at Riverside Memorial Park. Brother James Conner will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Lillian's life.
