Linda Neal Hamilton

Linda Neal Hamilton, 71 of Jacksonville, FL went home to be with her Savior on June 22, 2015. She was a native of Jacksonville and was born December 29, 1943 to Leonard C. Neal and Vivian Barnes Neal. She was predeceased by her parents, and her brother, Perry Neal. She leaves behind many friends and family to cherish her memory including a son Calvin Lee Kirkman and his wife Darcy; a daughter, Vivian Bradford and her husband Eric. In addition she leaves behind her brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Gloria Neal and her sister and brother-in-law, Gwen and Jim Simmons. She will be missed greatly by her “baby grands”, Joshua and his wife Tiffany, Lindsey, Emily, Courtney and Lauren Mikal as well as her Great-grandchildren, Chassidy and Ansley, all of whom she loved dearly and were her greatest joy.

Linda enjoyed her 27 year career working as a supervisor for the US Department of Defense, supply division at Cecil Field. Linda was a daughter, mother, sister and friend with a true servant’s heart. She was a member of Lakeshore Baptist Church where she served in many capacities as long as she was physically able. She and her family were grateful for their caring outreach and ministry as well as that also given from members of Westside Baptist Church.

The family wishes to thank St. Catherine's Labouré Manor for the wonderful and loving care they provided over the last two years. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to St. Catherine Labouré Manor. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday June 25, 2015 at Town and Country Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday June 26, 2015 at Westside Baptist Church, 7775 Herlong Road, Jacksonville, Florida with Brother Ray Mayfield officiating.
