Linda Davis Johnston, age 74, passed away March 11, 2022 after failing health and dementia at Haven Hospice, Custard Care Center in Orange Park, FL. Linda was born July 20, 1947 to Johns Louis Davis and Anna Hood Davis in Murphysboro, IL.
She resided in Jacksonville, FL. where she was employed at the Department of Insurance, Bureau of Asset and Agency Investigations for the State of Florida. She was also a Notary for many years and was a member of the West Park Baptist Church of Jacksonville on Jones Rd.
Linda was the wife to Robert Lloyd Johnston, Jr. (deceased); step-mother to Tiffany Morgan; grandmother to James Morgan, Jr.; sister to James L. Davis (deceased); daughter-in-law to Marion Perdue Johnston Tillman; sisters-in-law are Deborah Davis and Gretchen Johnston Keller.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 18, 2022 at 1:00-2:00 pm at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. Funeral Services will be at the funeral home at 2:00 pm with committal service following in Riverside Memorial Park. Pastor Charlie Rhodaback, Jr. of the West Park Baptist Church will be officiating.
