Lydia Lee Johnson a native of Jacksonville, FL was born August 5, 1950 to the late Ms. Naomi Stephens and Isaiah Pender. She received her educational training in the Duval County Public School system, graduating from Stanton Vocational High School, Class of 1968. After graduating from high school, Lydia worked as an office manager with Dr. Paek for over 25 years. Lydia was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She was a very kind hearted, humble and mild mannered person and she helped many. She also had a great sense of humor. Lydia was predeceased by a devoted husband Willie Johnson; brothers Ronnie Pender, Terry Pender and Charles Stephens and a beloved niece Charlotte “Marie” Foster. Lydia leaves to cherish her memory her Children: Darrick Taylor, Setetra Johnson and Andre Johnson; Brother Kenneth Pender (Lora); Sisters: Alma (Louis, Jr.), Kathleen Bradwell (Fleming), Carolyn Pender, Darlene Wilkerson (Kenneth) and Sheron Savage (Gary); Grandchildren: Joshua Savage, Aaliyah Sampson, Keiana Wilkerson, Kenneth Wilkerson, Joshlyn Savage and Makayla Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family member and friends.
She will be loved, remembered and cherished.
