Margaret A. Legge

Margaret A. Legge, age 89, passed away May 10, 2020 in Jacksonville, Florida. Margaret was born on January 9, 1931 in Brockton, MA., to Gerald Patrick Kearney and Ruth Agatha Kearney. Margaret was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister; she will be deeply and sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Matthew Legge; and her son, Robert "Bobby" Legge. She is survived by her children Matthew G. Legge (Laura), George D. Legge (Evette), Kenneth W. Legge (Tammy), Kathy Legge O'Brien (Lawrence J., III), and Paul J. Legge (Kellie); grandchildren Amy Rousseau (Chris), Paige Jenrette, Alicia M. Legge, Trevor Legge, Sarah K. O'Brien, Kristen A. Carstarphen (Andrew), Madison Legge, Cassidy Legge, and Maggie Legge; great-grandchildren Grace Thompson and Owen Myrick Carstarphen; siblings Ruth Kearney Farley (William) and Brenda Kearney Mac Gillivary (James); her sisters-in-law Barbara Kearney, Valerie Kearney, and Charlotte Legge Snee; and several cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held privately for the family on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at Riverside Memorial Park. The family plans to hold a memorial mass at a later date to be determined.
