Martha Slade Hendry, 94, died suddenly on February 21, 2011. She was predeceased by her husband James T. Hendry, Sr. of 54 years and 11 siblings. As a young adult, Martha accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was a member of the 103rd Street Baptist Church. . Martha is survived by her 4 children, Carolyn Allan, Connie Harrison (Buddy), Catherine Wrigley, Jim Hendry (Carole), 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. We will miss Mama greatly, but are comforted knowing that she is finally HOME.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Sunday, February 27, 2011 at Hardage-Giddens
Town and Country Funeral Home .Burial will follow to Riverside Memorial Park. After the service, the family will receive friends at the family home.
