Born March 8, 1932 in Baraboo, Wisconsin, Marty joined the Navy in 1951, which took him to Korea, Cuba, the Mediterranean, Japan and the Panama Canal. He retired from Bell South as Manager, November 1987 after 32 years.
He leaves cherished memories to his wife (Jean) of 38 years; sister Sally Hilt; daughter Deborah (Lee) Leibecki; sons Jerry (Donna) Harris, Kenneth Harris, Roger (Adele) Rewis and granddaughters Carly (Aaron) Daley and Kristyn Rewis, numerous nieces, nephews and his favorite fur buddy Rascal.
Family gathered on May 7 at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, Jacksonville, FL for services and interment.
