
Mary I. Baker, 87 of Jacksonville passed away on January 15, 2013. She was born July 29, 1925 to Eula Mae (Williamson) and Rufus Webb at Dowling Park, FL in Swannee County. Mary and J.E. Williams were married in 1944. To this union three children were born. She married Clarence Baker in 1968. Mary was preceded in death by husband, Clarence Baker, her parents, and three sisters, Louise, Annie, and Betty. Mary is survived by her loving children; son, Wayne Williams (Lucy) and daughters; Margaret Dougherty (Fred) and Katherine Williams, sister; Irene Reagan; grandchildren; Fred Dougherty, Jr, Pauline Tallman, Albert Wright, Timothy Wright, David Key, Michael Key, Julie Fischer, and Clinton Williams, great-grandchildren; Michael Shane Dougherty, Angelina “Bug” Dougherty, Sara Dougherty, Joshua “Frog” Tallman, Josiah “Cricket” Tallman, Inoli Wright, Galonv Wright, and Waholi Wright, Nathan Fischer and Natalie Fischer step-grandchildren; Christina “Pudding” Tallman and Brian “Peanut” Tallman, Jr. Mary was employed at Anchor Glass plant for over 30 years as an inspector. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Mary enjoyed shopping, camping and a good nap. Mary will be remembered for her love of family and friends.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home located at 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jax. Fl 32205. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2012 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Funeral will be held on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 11:00 in the chapel. Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
