

Mary was born in Gadsden, Alabama on May 29, 1930. She moved to Jacksonville with her husband, James, and family in 1968. She helped run City Wide Subpoena Services until the early 2000s. She loved spending time with her family. She was an active member at First Baptist Church for many decades until she joined North Jacksonville Baptist Church this year. She loved serving the Lord in any capacity and loved sharing Jesus with those she came in contact with.
Mary Ann was the daughter of the late William Albert Whitten and Ossie Stancil Whitten. She was preceded in death by her three brothers, Billy Whitten, Robert Earl Whitten, and Raymond Bruce Whitten, and her sister Marie Grams. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 51 years James Elbert Baugh. She is survived by her seven children, sons: William L. Baugh and James S. Baugh of Jacksonville, FL, and daughters: Susan Dewsnap (Glenn) of Pensacola, FL, Linda Boyd (Carl) of Jacksonville, FL, Shirley Hernandez (Ramon) of Jacksonville, FL, Donna Crawford (Darrell) of Jacksonville, FL, Theresa Holland (John) of Jacksonville, FL ; fifteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild. She leaves behind many friends, especially her neighbors that had become like family over the last few years.
A visitation for Mary will be held Friday, November 8, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A visitation will occur Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A funeral service will occur Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A committal service will occur Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
