Maxine was born February 10, 1923 in Salem, MS, to Anthony E. and Mamie Andrew Boyd. She was one of eight children and married Charlie O. Jones in August of 1945 and they settled in Jacksonville, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband Charlie O. Jones and one daughter Deborah Rafus. Maxine was a long time member of Old Moultrie Baptist Church and will be missed by all there. Maxine was a devoted wife and mother. She led a Christian life and was friend to many. Maxine is survived by one son, Wayne Jones and daughter-in-law Barbara Jones; three grandchildren Michele Solana, David Jones, and Alecia Rafuse; two great-grandchildren, Greg H. Solana and Nathaniel Bumbalough; as well as many nieces and nephews.
