Michael was a highly skilled mechanic who many people depended on. He was a sports fanatic. His favorite teams were the Detroit Red Wings for hockey, Florida Gators for all college sports, especially football, Jacksonville Jaguars for professional football, and Dale Jr for NASCAR. Michael was a big fan of star wars, star trek, and anything intergalactic. Also, Michael loved loud rock “n” roll music. Some of his favorites were AC/DC, Metallica, Black Sabbath, and Pink Floyd.
Michael was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Marie Kelly, and father, John Kelly. Michael is survived by his mother, Marjorie Kelly, two children, Michele Lanier and Scott Kelly; sisters, Karen Hautau and Amy Sharkey, brother, Ken Kelly, grandchildren, Kayla Lanier, Gavin Lanier, Jordon Lanier, and Kyle Kelly, and great grandchild, Logan Rose.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday September 8, 2018 at Hardage-Gidden Riverside Memorial Park And Funeral Home 7242 Normandy Boulevard Jacksonville, FL 32205
