We have had so many friends join you in the past 3 years. Rightfully you are all at the military cemetery.

I knew of Mike but I did not know him. However, his brother Scott is one of my dearest life long friends. If it weren't for Mike's willingness to sponsor Scott as a dependent at RAF Alconbury, England, so many of Scott's classmates at Molesworth would have lost out on a friendship that has enriched our lives. I have known Scott since we were 14 and I will forever be grateful that Mike took on that responsibility and sent for him. The memories are sweet and treasured. My deepest sympathies to Scott and his family.

Mike was a very kind, helpful, and genuine person, he meant a lot to our family. We spent many wonderful holidays with his family during his Air Force years in Germany, England, and the USA.  Mike was always so ready and willing to take us on any excursions!!  While based in Europe, he took us to various surrounding countries, which certainly broadened our horizons! We were also given the opportunity to appreciate life in the military, as he took us to visit many of the Air Force Bases he was stationed at. 

Mike was brilliant, a "lifelong learner" forever enhancing his intellect by completing more University degrees on a variety of topics. He was always anxious to share his knowledge and had the ability to relay it in a manner everyone could appreciate.  I remember one time on Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany,
Mike was teaching a class of young children, how to play chess. Each day he would teach them one chess move.  His reasoning was at that age, their young minds were like sponges and would absorb new knowledge easily.   I know he certainly enhanced their learning and made it fun, they called him "Mr. Mike".
 
We enjoyed all our conversations with Mike! He was extremely interesting and always had a fascinating story to tell.
There are so very many stories we could share of our times and travels with Mike and his family  and we will cherish them forever.

Our deepest sympathy on the passing of this very, very special man.

As a young Air Force dependent at RAF Alconbury I remember Michael as Scott's big brother. Having your brothers and mom as your official Air Force dependents was  rarely seen. Taking on such a huge responsibility at such a young age. It speaks volumes for the youngman and man he was.  Thanks for the motorcycle Mike. Without your bike I may have never learned to ride one. God speed 

We have many memories of you Mike, over the years
Even though now it may bring us to tears
Dollar pancakes as high as the sky
Buffalo Chicken Wings piled very high

You always welcomed us with our family
When we visited from England for our holiday
Your bar-b-ques were always a feast and more
Followed by your special cocktails, one or two we saw !!!

You couldn't wait to fly your model Stealth in the air
The excuse was that our young son Gregg was there
Mike, you were as excited as Gregg to see...

To us Mike you were the Karaoke King
When you  got the "mike" and  started to sing 🎼🎙🎵

Dancing on the beach with Moon Worshippers under a star

Mike, sail on peacefully through the clouds in the sky
It was lovely to know you and so sad to say goodbye ❤
