She married the man you  approved of last year. She asked me to walk her and I stood in for your dance w her. It was a night full of joy

Mike, this was your memorial paddle out. Your brother Dan made this happen. Derek drove all the way from Louisiana. Tristan, Logan and Evan flew in from California. Tony rode the perfect wave. Paul rode the surfboard you made. This group loves you. And we thank GOD you were in our life

Having recently learned of Mikes passing I, like many others I am sure, struggle to find the words to adequately describe his massive influence of positivity and kindness.

I would like to send my heart felt condolences to his family in its entirety.

Mike was a big brother to me in just about any measure.  His brothers John and Dan and I grew very close and were
 interchangeable in a very pivitol time of my youth.
 Always forthright and honest, his integrity was very much absorbed by a much younger me and honestly was drastically needed and now so much appreciated.  

His love of surfing was very evident, but he had so many more amazing loves and abilites.  Standing out was his effortless artistic born with skills and plastic modeling.... he would spend hours with me and my family doing.  My father was impressed with an attention to detail and all out skill at a very young age, that my father often spoke of it many years later, his modeling ability.  
Mike would pop by my home in the neighborhood, and even when I was not there, visit with my parents, often for hours on end.  
My mother adored Mike.   She had her mothers instinct and always said ..... " I know when you are with Mike you will be just fine".

He would make sure I was sitting in the car with his brothers heading to the "poles"  too many times to count.
Our collective love of music is still such a part of me I know I will always remember him for just that alone.  He was the inspiration to pick up a guitar and start a healthy hobby that I still use as a therapeutic remedy to this day.  Thank you Mike! 
I find myself remembering so many laughs and a massive sense of humor that I again will never forget.  
I still recite Caddy Shack lines as he and I did 40 years ago, I know a "greaseman" entire LP, word for word to this day, again something Mike and I both would do together.

Rest in Peace Mike, you will live on in my soul and memory.  May God Bless you, your memeories and your family.

Dinner at Shuckers - Chris LaPointe, Mike and Jack (with our wives).  One of many nights out  sharing good food and many memories.  Miss those times together.

Mike was one of those people that I will never forget how he made me feel, it’s been said, we may not remember what people say but we will always remember how they made us feel. He was very knowledgeable in many things but his love of his family and people stood out. He is now resting in his rewards with our Heavenly father. Rob Goodson.

My condolences to Mike's wife, his children and family.  I was not close to Mike but Mike impacted my life more than he ever knew.  He was a good man, a friend, someone for whom I always knew where he stood.  He was honest and giving with his time.  He was a skilled man, a devoted husband and father and simply someone I was blessed know.  I will miss you Mike, and I am grateful for our shared time, may you rest in peace.
