

Miguelito was born on May 6, 1956, in Camiling, Tarlac, Philippines, to the late Teofilo Sr. and Patricia Vincecruz. He graduated from Arellano University (Philippines) in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, major in Banking and Finance. During his college years, he was a varsity basketball player. He was also a star player in the Camiling Basketball League and was consistently selected as one of the Top 5 finest players. At the age of 27, before migrating to the USA, he was recognized as the youngest Inspector of the Year at Pantranco Transit. He was known for his kindness, compassion, animal love, generosity, and willingness to help all people in need. He served as a quality control supervisor at General Motors and later worked as a production worker and assembler in manufacturing at GE Unison. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Miguelito's kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family were the hallmarks of his life. He was one of the officers of the Happy Valley Romancer’s Club, an organization for the youth of Camiling, where he served as a sponsor and provided financial support.
Miguelito is survived by his beloved wife, Anicia, his five devoted children, Cynthia(Edgar), Miguelito Jr., Carol, Clarenz, and Dominique, his seven siblings: Elma (Orlino-deceased), Dolores (Renato-deceased), Teofilo Jr. (Loida), Vilma (Amadeo), Nora (Eric), Joycelin (Herminio), and Charito (Michael), and their respective spouses, as well as his sister-in-law Evangelina, his three grandchildren, Nicole, Mickala, and Cedric, and his five devoted feline companions, Lita, Mila, Totoy, Nene, and Bondyang. He will be deeply missed by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents (Teofilo Sr. and Patricia), his eldest sibling Romulo, and his grandchild Edward Miguel.
Miguelito's spirit, defined by his immense kindness and desire to help others, will live on in the hearts of his family and all those whose lives he touched. Though he has departed, his legacy of devotion remains a constant source of comfort and inspiration. He will be deeply missed and eternally loved.
A visitation will be held at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, located at 850 St Johns Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, FL 32225, on January 8, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
The funeral service will follow at the same location on January 8, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Following the service, in accordance with Miguelito’s wishes, he will be cremated.
