Milton married Cindy Thompson on April 22, 2006. He worked as a police officer at the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and when he was at leisure, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and Georgia football…Go Dawgs!
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Bowles; daughter and son-in-law, Shelley K. and Christopher Green; son and daughter-in-law, Anthony A. Bowles and Joy; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Shannon M. Jeans and Brandon W. Jeans; stepson, Daniel C. Bean; sister and brother-in-law, Linda B. Mickler and Russell J. Mickler; and brother, Dennis E. Bowles; 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Preceded in death are his father, Milton C. Bowles and mother, Burnez Ethridge Bowles.
A visitation for Milton will be held Friday, December 22, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A funeral service will occur Friday, December 22, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A committal service will occur Friday, December 22, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
