

She was a devoted and loving wife whose warmth, kindness, and unwavering love touched the lives of so many, leaving behind countless broken hearts and a profound sense of loss. Nancy will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Navy was born on September 19, 1962 in Norristown, Pennsylvania and lived in Souderton, Pennsylvania until 1992. She graduated from Souderton High School in 1980, attended Gannon University in Erie, PA and received an associate degree as a Legal Secretary from Gwynedd-Mercy University in Ambler, PA.
Moving to Jacksonville in 1992, Nancy continued to serve the legal and corporate community as a Paralegal working in a variety of law firms and corporations. She retired from Fidelity National Information Services as Senior Paralegal in the fall of 2025.
Nancy loved the outdoors and enjoyed traveling, walking, boating, golf and spending time with friends at Deerwood Country Club.
Nancy is survived by her sister, Trudy Spanier in Pennsylvania and Ruth Joseck in West Virginia and Mike Slagle, her husband of 26 years. The family would like to thank Community Hospice in Jacksonville, Florida for providing exceptional care during her struggle with cancer.
Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home provided exceptional care and services. Following her wishes, Nancy was cremated and the family will hold a Celebration of Life to allow family and friends to memorialize her wonderful life.
