Nettie Allison James, 88, was called home by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Saturday, October 21, 2017. Her husband, 4 children and many grandchildren were at her side. Nettie was born in Arabi, GA April 6, 1929 to Mr. and Mrs. Stark Allison. Nettie grew up in and around Cordele, GA. There she met the love of her life, Clarence James, Sr. They married in Cordele, GA on August 31, 1946. In the early years of their marriage they relocated to Jacksonville, FL in 1953. Nettie was an active member of South Point Baptist Church.
Nettie is survived by her husband of 71 years, Clarence James Sr., her sons Robert James (Hai), Frank James, Gary James (Marianne) and daughter Katie Scammell (Bryan), 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and 1 brother, Kenneth Allison.
