Ollie Jo House

Jo was born on April 10, 1940, in Jasper, Florida to Caulie B. Wheeler and Ollie (Crews) Wheeler. Jo married Frank Lawton House on August 30, 1958. Together they lived in Jacksonville where they raised their three children Alicia, Valerie, and Michael.

Jo was preceded in death by her Husband of 60 years, her daughter Valerie, four brothers, and five sisters. Jo is survived by her daughter Alicia (Gary Webb), her son Michael (Loren Morris-House), 4 grandchildren Kayla, (Travis Flannagan), Courtney,(Victor Victor), Ashlynn, Lindsay and five great-grandchildren (Travis Jr, Lane, Graham, Callan, and Nicholas).

Jo was active in the Friendship Quilt Guild, Shindler Drive Baptist Church, and a lifelong Seminole fan.

Pallbearers will include Travis Flannagan, Victor Ventor, Mike King, Mike Lee, Trey Lee, and Sonny Hines.

A funeral service for Ollie will be held Monday, October 23, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. Following the funeral service will be a committal service from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
