Para Lee (Polly) Ramsey, 92, passed away Monday, July 3, 2017 in Orange Park, FL. She was born January 18, 1925 to Arthur and Signora DeLoach in Corinth, MS. Polly loved her church and was a member of Shindler Road Baptist Church in Jacksonville, FL. She enjoyed watching the news especially Bill O’Reilly. Polly was a Florida Gator fan, playing cards and her favorite quarterback was Tom Brady from the Patriots. She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Marvin Ramsey Sr. and her son Marvin Ramsey Jr. Polly is survived by her daughters Marisa (Richard) Smith, Sharon Barber, 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home is serving the family. A visitation for friends will be held on Friday, July 7, 2017 from 10:00am-11:00am in the chapel of the funeral home. Services to begin at 11:00am with Dr. John Green officiating. Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
