Patricia Ann Cash

Patricia , well known to her family and friends as “Trish” was born August 9, 1951 in Patuxent River, Maryland to the late Charles and Mabel Tate. She was the second oldest of four children, one preceded her in death. She was the child of military parents that were stationed in many different parts of the world from Green Cove Springs, Florida to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Patricia planted roots in Philadelphia Pennsylvania and graduated from Germantown High School in 1969. Patricia loved fashion and one of her aspirations was to become a fashion designer.

Patricia married Michael D. Cash Sr. in 1977 and 2 children were born from this union. Patricia and Michael retired in 2016 and moved to Jacksonville, Florida to be close to their grandchildren. She joined Tabernacle Baptist Institutional Church in 2023 with christian experience. She loved working with the usher ministry and attending the married couple ministry events, and senior bible study. She loved to read her bible, praying for and with others.

Patricia's greatest treasure was her family! She truly believed the greatest moments in life are not concerned with selfish achievements but rather with the things we do for the people we love. She loved watching her grandchildren grow, hearing their laughter which always kept a smile on her face. She was a loving and caring person, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and friend, always thinking of others first.

Patricia leaves to cherish her loving memories: her husband, Michael D Cash Sr, Son Michael D. Cash Jr, Daughter in law Janna O. Cash, Daughter Kiersten J. Cash, Granddaughter Logan M. Cash, Grandson Michael D. Cash lll, Grandson Ryan B. Cash. Sisters Sharon Keel and Pamela Tate, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A celebration of life service is being held Saturday, April 26, 2025 11:00 am, at Tabernacle Baptist Institutional Church 903 East Union St. Jacksonville, FL 32206.
