On June 20th, 2023, Patricia (Pat) Ann Underwood also known as “Meme”, went home to be with her lord and savior. Born on the 7th of September in 1951, she was a long-time and active member at Englewood Christian Church. She loved to sew and loved being a part of her Circle group at church, spending time with her family, and most of all her grand, and great-grandchildren.
Ms. Underwood was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Glenn Underwood, her parents, Billie Joe Bowers and Nellie Rosenbaum Bowers, and brothers Doug Bowers and JB Bowers.
She is survived by her sisters: Liz (Wayne) Garman, Carolyn Bowers, Lou Slate, stepsister, Martha Ann Bowers, and brothers: Tommy (Elaine) Bowers, Bobby (Rosemary) Bowers, Jimmy Bowers, Michael Bowers, daughter Lisa Hixson, son Roger (Lisa) Harmon, grandchildren: Chris (Maria) Hixson, Jacob Hixson, Brianna (Michael) Cousins, and great grandchildren: Maria Grace, Gabriel, and Annamarie Grace Hixson.
Ms. Underwood was laid to rest on June 24, 2023 at Hardage Giddens Chapel Hills.
