I’m saddened to learn of Pauline’s passing. I met Pauline and JB back in the Joseph Land days, which seems like forever ago.  Last time I was at their house, Geri was trying to see if I was having a boy or girl with the string over my belly. Crazy to think that was almost 26 years ago. I remember Pauline’s love of Elvis. The strongest of my memories was how caring and loving she and JB were. They made you feel like part of their family. I’ve missed them dearly over the years, and have fond memories of laughter and kindness. Rest peacefully, Pauline. I know you’re reunited back with your dear JB.

I was your first grandchild and I was lucky to be in a fifth generation photo. I’m going to miss the times we ate cake together in the wee hours of the morning when we couldn’t sleep. You had to become the family matriarch many years ago and reigned until God called you home to be reunited with everyone that missed you as much as we’ll miss you until we see you again. Dear Owens Family,                                                                   From Kentucky to Tennessee then Florida , all the memories I hold dear to my heart. To breakin up beans on the porch with Flora, gathing the family for a big meal. And such a close family! Then to Tennessee to the wonderful parks and camping. Such a good time with this wonder family! Then off to Florida, which made Preacher man scratch his head a few times!  Wayne and I and  my son  Michael never missed a vacation I don't beleive.  Such memories Uncle Jerry, Pauline, Jerry Ann, Gay, Lonette and little Loreene always treated us as family and  always a big welcome!  Those  memories seem like yesterday and never  will forget.  So hold on to the times you had, and those special memories. They'll never leave  just keep passing them down to family and friends.  life goes on, and so will those memories. May loving memories of your Mother bring you comfort during this difficult time. You and your family supported your Mom through some difficult times. Our heart and prayers go out to you all.
She was an amazing woman, that lived a remarkable life. She was cherished by so many for being a wonderful Daughter, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, Aunt & friend to so many. There are no words for the legacy Mamaw has left on us. Her shining personality will live on in our hearts. 
	We are blessed that for over 40 years we have been part of the Owens family & friends network. We are thankful that we were able to celebrate many lifelong memories with Mamaw weather it was at an Owens, Shanks, Hamilton or Townsend family celebration. Mamaw was always there with her beautiful smile. She taught us how to manage life’s challenges with positivity, determination, strength, grace and dignity. She will forever be admired for these attributes and many more.
We hope you know how much you are loved and are able to find strength and solace during this difficult time.

Mamaw, 
             Oh, how I’m going to miss saying your name, hearing your laugh, and spending time on the back porch with you. You have taught me so much in life, but I was never taught how to live without you.  My heart hurts. You fought for so long and I know your body was  tired, but a part of  me never believed this day would actually come. I will never get used to the fact that you’re no longer here. You are and will always be the greatest Mamaw who has ever lived! I know my heart will begin to heal over time, but I’ll never get the piece of my heart back that went with you when you passed. I love you so much, mamaw. Your life was a blessing and your memory is now a treasure. I thank you for being the most amazing grandmother and you will always live in my heart and thoughts 💕

Pauline, as we are all sad down here, with your departure, our Faith let's us know you are all smiles now, having moved on to wondrous surroundings and loving arms.  You will be missed, but your  grit and determination, mixed with a warmth and love for your Family, is a memory that will be held onto by me, and so many others you have touched, while on Earth.

I don’t even know where to begin, I miss you so much already. You were the true meaning of a mother to me I will forever cherish our moments together and the memories of you will never leave me. You fought so long to be here on earth with us, now you’re free. I will forever remember holding your hand and telling you how much I loved you as you took your last breath. I never wanted to let you go but I know you’re not suffering anymore. As I told you I would be back to take care of you, and that I did until your last moment here.
