Peri Ann Nolan, who loved to be called “Plati” by her grandkids, departed her loving family on September 1, 2021. Peri was born in Jacksonville, FL on December 11, 1960. She was mother to Jay Nolan, Jr. and raised him with love and devotion in Jacksonville with her husband Jay Nolan, Sr.
As a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt she was known for her calming love, grace, and kindness. Her acts of generosity were known to few, but felt by many. Her adoration for her grandkids was endless, and her “Three Angels”, Michael, Camden, and Eli, were her inspiration. Peri possessed a unique talent to always find the good in people and bring peace and harmony to those around her. Her love and commitment to her husband of forty-two years was one of the pillars in her life, second only to her devotion and faith to her God and Savior.
As a medical office professional with Baptist Primary Care, she held various administrative roles ultimately culminating as a Physician Practice Manager after 28 years of dedicated service. The impact she made, not only with those she worked with, but also with those she served, will be a lasting legacy never to be surpassed or forgotten. Her life’s work to serve others was a testament to her faith, and portrayed her love for those in need.
Peri lived a selfless life not only for her family but also for those around her. She will be eternally missed and her presence will always be felt by those who knew and loved her.
A celebration of life for Peri will be held at the Ribault Club, located at 11241 Fort George Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32226, on Wednesday September 8, 2021 from 12:00-4:00 PM. Attire is casual dress.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Wolfson Children’s Hospital in her honor at the following link: www.wolfsonchildrens.com/give. Point of contact at Wolfson is Laura Collins at (904) 202-6296.
