Phil was a family man who deeply loved his whole family, especially Linda, his wife of 46 years. He enjoyed spending time riding motorcycles, camping with his family, hunting, spending time with his grandchildren, helping his daughter and son-in-law with home projects, and watching Wheel of Fortune and cooking-out with Linda. He was a people person and could light up the room with his smile and welcoming demeanor. Phil worked at Load King for 36 years, where he enjoyed his work as an installer and project supervisor. His favorite part of his career was working with the contractors and co-workers. He focused on ensuring that every project was of the highest quality. He was a member of Riverstone Community Church, where he loved serving in the parking lot, fellowshipping with friends, worshipping during service, and learning from sermons.
Phil is survived by his wife, Linda; his children, Tina Runkles (David Runkles), and Nathan McLaughlin Jr.; his grandchildren, Laila Grace and Paisley Hope Runkles; his mother, Dora McDonald; his siblings, Jerry McLaughlin (Lori), and Michael Jones; his brother-in-law, and sister-in-law, Ivey and Debbie Peters; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Nathan Philamon; and his sister, Patty Smith.
