Phyllis Chumley Bryan passed away on October 17, 2012, she was born in Illinois. Phyllis resided in Jacksonville most of her life where she met her husband, Delmar Thomas Bryan, Sr. of 58 years. She will be remembered for how she loved life and shared that with anyone she met. She was a member of Murray Hill Baptist Church and a member of the River City Association for the Deaf. She is preceded in death by her husband, Delmar Thomas Bryan, Sr, and a brother, Jim Hieronymus. She is survived by her brother Sylvester Chumley, daughters Rosalee Connor (Clark), Pamela Bryan, Camelle Bryan (Dan), Natalie Bryan (Melissa) and a son Thomas Bryan, Jr (Tammy), grandchildren, Suzi Ackerman, Josh Turner, Jennifer Alford (Chad), Courtney Clark (Zach) and four great grandchildren. Arrangements entrusted to Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. A visitation will be held on Monday, October 22, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 pm. in the visitation room. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 2:00 pm in the chapel with interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
