Raymond Lester was born in Jacksonville, FL., on June 15, 1955. He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School. He worked for Bell South, retiring after 30 years of service. He was a member of VFW Post #7909 in Jacksonville, Men’s Auxillary. He was also a member of SHADCO, and a member of the Marine Posse. He loved to eat lunch every day with all his friends at “Famous Sandwiches”.
Raymond is survived by his mother Teresa Morkin, sisters; Kay Seth, Karen Boyd (Bob), nephews: Bobby Boyd, Raymond Seth, John Seth, Tommy Boyd, great nieces & nephews: Jason Seth, Raymond Seth, Douglas Seth, Audrey Seth, Aunt Gail Thompson, uncle Carl Bustard, and other family and friends.
Raymond is preceded in death by his father Raymond Morkin Sr.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Sunday April 10, 2016 at Town & Country Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:00 Pm to 8:00 PM the night before, on April 9, 2016 at Town & Country Funeral Home. Burial will follow the funeral at Riverside Memorial Park at 12:00 PM.
