Richard A. Thomas Sr., 80, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2015 in Jacksonville, FL. He was born June 18, 1935 to Clarence and Fannie Thomas Sr. in Jacksonville, FL. Richard loved to play the lottery, go fishing and work. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers and his sisters. Richard is survived by one son Richard A. Thomas Jr., three daughters Penny (Jeff) Morrell, Gloria Ann (Michael) Kershner, Linda Faye (Stanley) Beck, seven grandchildren Nicke, Marie (Ricky), J.R. (Jennifer), Ashley (Richard), Rick, Lindsey, J.J., and four great-grandchildren Mikhaela, Bryson, Sparrow and Jaxon. Arrangements under the care of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 11:00am at Riverside Memorial Park.
