Robert Michael Danese, 60, died July 23, 2013. Rob was a devout communicant of Our Lady of Angels and St. Paul’s Riverside Catholic churches. For forty years his loved profession was as a tugboat captain on the Intercoastal Waterway. He is survived by numerous lifelong friends, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, his mother, Frances Danese; two daughters, Regina and Robin, and one step daughter, Tina Sorondo. The joys of his life were his six grandchildren. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205, (904) 781-9262. The family will friends for visitation and Rosary, on Sunday July 28th, at 2:00 pm, followed by a graveside service at 3:00 pm in Riverside Memorial Park.
