Robert Joseph Neiberger

A Mass of Christian Burial for Robert Joseph Neiberger who passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 will be held on Monday, March 27, 2017 at 11:00am with Fr. Anthony Bonela as celebrant. A committal service will follow at Chapel Hills Memory Gardens at 1:30pm. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00pm until 4:00pm at the funeral home. Born in Bronx, New York Robert was a son of the late Joseph and Theresa Prenhoffer Neiberger. He was raised in Bethlehem, PA and was a graduate of Lafayette College in 1958 where he was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity and the Newman Club. Robert served his country in the United States Army. He had a long and rewarding career in management in the plastics industry – eventually retiring in Jacksonville. Robert is a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and was active with the Apostleship of the Sea, served as a Eucharistic Minister and had been a member of the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; children, Susan (Steve) Rash, Robert (Vesna) Neiberger and David (Genie) Neiberger; and eight grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph.
