Ronald E. Hargrove, 80, passed away Monday, May 22, 2017 in Jacksonville, FL. He was born August 26, 1936 to William and Viola Hargrove in Jacksonville, FL. Brother Ronnie faithfully preached the Word with power and glory under the anointing of the Holy Ghost for over 40 years. He loved Jesus, people, and his family of whom he was an inspiration to each and every one of them. He faithfully led and served as pastor at several Baptist churches including: Woodland Acres, Old Plank Road, Beverly Hills, Oak Grove, Gloryland and currently at West Park Baptist Church. Ronnie is survived by his wife of 62 years Iris, four sons Ronnie (Jan) Jr., Rick, Rusty, Robbie, four grandchildren and one great-grandson. Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205 is serving the family. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 26, 2017 at Old Plank Road Baptist Church, 8964 Old Plank Road, Jacksonville, FL 32220 beginning at 11am. Interment at Riverside Memorial Park.
