

Rosemary Baty Gary, 79, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2024. Born on September 27, 1945, in Jacksonville, Florida, Rosemary spent her life rooted in faith, service, and love for her family.
On June 18, 1971, she married the love of her life, Frank Gary, with whom she built a family filled with warmth and devotion. Rosemary is survived by her beloved husband, Frank Gary; her sister, Vanessa Cain; her daughters, Sonya Cowart and Michelle Wade (husband Matt), and step-son Shawn Hamberg; her grandchildren, Krystal Burleigh (husband Scott), Joshua Cowart (wife Elizabeth), Amanda Gary, Matthew Wade, and Jonathan Wade; and her great-grandchildren, Shiloh Smith, Lydia Smith, Trinity Smith, Olivia Cowart, and Brody Cowart.
Rosemary dedicated 40 years to nursing, a career that embodied her deep compassion and commitment to serving others. She was a devoted member of Blanding Boulevard Baptist Church, where her unwavering faith and fellowship were a source of inspiration to all who knew her.
A breast cancer survivor, Rosemary was living proof of God’s miracles. Her journey of resilience and faith served as a testament to His grace and healing power, inspiring all who were privileged to witness her strength and determination.
Her love for her family and her faith in God were the foundation of her life. Rosemary's legacy of kindness, strength, and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.
A celebration of Rosemary’s life will be held at Blanding Boulevard Baptist Church (5005 Blanding Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32210) on Monday, December 9, 2024. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by a service at 10:45 AM.
Rosemary will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her.
