Sam was born on December 22, 1954, in Cebu City, Philippines. He worked as a traveling photographer in the Philippines and captured many beautiful photographs throughout his career. Sam loved traveling with his wife, Jane, and they enjoyed going out of the country at least once or twice a year to experience new places and scenery.
After retiring, Sam and Jane joined a Zumba class at LA Fitness on Kernan, where he made many friends. Forming friendships came easily to him because of his outgoing personality and vibrant spirit. He loved dancing for as long as he could, making jokes, and bringing smiles to others. He was truly a jokester and a kid at heart.
Visitation will be held at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St. Johns Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, FL 32225, on March 4, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m.
