   I am so sorry to hear of Scott's passing.   Your joy and happiness since moving with Scott to Florida has been evident to all.  I have followed Scott's photo log on Facebook for quite some time and will certainly miss it.

Patty and families.  So sorry to hear of the sudden passing of Scott.   The reason why we refer to our little group as the Nashua 9 was the fact that the 9 of us would meet once a year at their condo in New Hampshire.  We would catch up on everyone's life, eat, drink play goofy games and at some point take s strool through the Sky Meadows golf course.  
I can be a bit of a cut up and everyone seemed to enjoy my sense of humor especially Patty who I would refer to as my little laugh track.  A number of times Scott was the driving force behind some of the venues we would attend which would help keep the rest of us in touch.   Scott will forever be in our thoughts and you Patty will always be part of our family.  My thoughts are with you and yours at this most difficult time.

So very saddened to hear of Scott's passing.  He was a true friend and great colleague at ENSR and the world will be left with a giant void with Scott no longer here.  So glad that I could count myself as one of his friends.  His knowledge of music and passion for rocks and minerals and photography were second to none and I am glad that I was able to learn from him on these topics.  My sincerest condolences to Patty and the rest of his entire family.

Patty and other relatives and family of Scott: I'm so sorry to learn of the passing of Scott. He was such a great man whom I've known for more than 30 years. He was an amazing photographer, mineral collector and enthusiast, and someone with such other unending talents. I wish I could have gotten together in-person with Patty and Scott in the recent past, but my daily interaction with Scott on Facebook always made me happy with his fantastic photographs, and his positive feedback on my postings. I will sorely miss him. Patty and family, please keep the memories of Scott in your hearts to eternity.

Scott the amazing photographer, will be missed for his laugh, his smile, his wit, his humor, his courage, his gentleness, his environmental conservation, his social commentary, his desire to be a part of the big picture, his ability to make you feel welcome and his love for his family and friends. 
Scott, you are one of a kind and we, your family and the world have lost a great one, a guru. May your memories live forever in our hearts as we spread your blessings  with the same love and zeal that you bestowed on us.

When I was leaving the Navy, at the former Naval Air Station South Weymouth, to start my career with the Army Corps, Patty and Scott gave me an Amethyst and Smokey Quartz Scepter from Ossipee, New Hampshire, to remind me of my time in the New England (Boston) area. Almost 10 years later, during a phone conversation, Patty told me Scott was having a difficult time finding a home for his micro-mount collection.  Scott was an avid micro-mount crystal collector and amateur mineralogist for years. He was active in the New England Micro-Mounters Club. Patty told me to talk to Scott and make the arrangements. I had some training to take at NAS Jacksonville. So almost 2 years after our conversation, in August of 2019, I met with Scott. We really hit it off. We looked at many specimens under the microscope and shared many mineral collecting stories. Some of the stories may have been better than the specimens  themselves.  He told me he was glad to be giving the collection to someone who appreciated it as well as sharing it for educational purposes. Scott also gave me a petrographic microscope with digital camera and reference materials. He told me what he really enjoyed now was taking photos of nature. If any of you followed Scott on Facebook he shared his amazing photos of almost impossible shots. Some of t he best photos of nature I've seen. Scott you'll truely be missed. Your micro-mount collection will go on to inspire the next generation of mineralogists and your photos will be forever in our minds.

Patty, I am so sorry for us losing Scott.  I felt through Facebook we rekindled our friendship.  Mathieu loved his pictures and he complemented Mathieu on some of his.  I am sending you big hugs from Nashua.  - MaryAnn and Mathieu Pinto

Scott was a wonderful soul who loved nature and captured its beauty so often with his masterful skills in photography! He was always pleasant to be around! The world is bereft of one more beautiful soul!  Rest in peace with your Maker!  We will always remember you!

The passing of Scott has left a hole in our hearts that will take time to close into happy memories. But, as God has said, this will happen and our thoughts of Scott will be beautful, and ofter bring huge smiles to our faces. His laughter and smile are frozen in our memory. Simply put, we loved him.

Scott was a heck of a wonderful person to me, and a very very good geologist. Rest in Peace my friend. God be with your Family.

Patty, we love you and send hugs your way.  Loved Scott and am flooded with the memories of many laughs, life events,  and great conversations and meals with you both.  Lil is still talking about the first and only time she ate duck (and maybe goose!) at your house.
