Sue Yarnell O’Bannon moved into eternal rest on December 28, 2020 with our Lord Jesus Christ. Sue loved the Lord and her family. She showed the love of the Lord to others and wanted them to know the Good News of a spirit filled life with Jesus. She graduated from Withrow High School, Cincinnati, Ohio and the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor's degree in dietetics. She met her beloved husband, Thomas O’Bannon, of 37 years, at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston MA where Sue was completing her dietetic internship and Tom was having joint surgery.
She is preceded by Tom O'Bannon, in-laws Clyde and Mary O’Bannon, parents George and Penny Yarnell, siblings Jerry Yarnell, Nancy Polder and Skip Yarnell. She is survived by her son Bryan O’Bannon and his wife Allison O’Bannon, their children Riley, Declan, Corin, Emerson and Quinlan; daughter Emily O’Bannon Cuyler, son-in-law Robert Cuyler, their children Aaron (and his wife Rebekah) and Kathryn; and daughter Elizabeth O’Bannon.
A graveside service for immediate family is planned with Rev. James Barnhill officiating. In lieu of flowers, please consider those in need who are served in the name of Jesus at World Outreach Inc, Timuquana Road, Jacksonville Florida.
