Sylvia Austine Lumpkin

Sylvia Austine Lumpkin, 88, of Yulee, Florida was born February 10th,1937 in Jacksonville, Florida to Adger and Laura Baylor. She passed away peacefully on September 13th, 2025 at her home surrounded by family and loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Johnny Loften Lumpkin.

She is Survived by her children: daughters Margaret (Mike) Fowler and Wanda (Ronnie) Greathouse. Sons: Mark (Cindy) Lumpkin Sr. and Johnny Lumpkin; grandchildren: Kimberly, Casey, Steven, Craig, Mark Jr., Robert, Ronnie, Rusty and Jonathan; great grandchildren: Connor, Carter, Cody, Paige, Caleb, Kyle, Ava and Abel; one great great granddaughter: Anna Rose; her brothers: Edgar (Donna) and Robert (Janet) Baylor.

We would like to give a special thank you to Donnie Crews, Tammy Lynch, Janet and Piggy Baylor and to Peggy and Kenneth Fowler. Your help and the love shown not only to her but to us as a family will never be forgotten, she loved you all so very much.

And to our officiant, her bonus grandson John Sweat Sr., thank you for all the love and counseling you have given not only to us, but to Kimberly as well. Thank you for loving us all the way you do.

A memorial service and arrangements will be made and communicated at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Mera's Mission in remembrance of Sylvia.
