Born March 31, 1944, in Baxley, Georgia, Ted served in the United States Navy and the National Guard. He later retired from Ford Motor Company and Publix after many years of dedicated service. Ted was a man of strong faith, a talented carpenter and musician, and a devoted family man who especially cherished his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 57 years, Connie; his children, Angie (Brett) Green, Kim (Ronnie) Gressman, and Shannon (Chris) Ashley; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three sisters. He was preceded in death by his son, Steven, his parents, and 2 sisters.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on February 7 at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Gardens.
