Tex Ewing Thompson

Tex was educated at Robert E. Lee High School and after high school began to work in roofing and general construction.

He had numerous interests, which included, automobile racing, scuba diving, beach and Key West trips with friends. He was a Jacksonville Jaguar and Gator football fan but what he really enjoyed was helping others.

Tex is survived by daughter, Barbara “Barbi” Thompson; grandchildren, Tori Wolfla, Hannah Wolfla, Brandy Mikell, Gage Mikell, Joshua Thompson and Kane Thompson; great-grandchild, Olivia Mikell; brother, Tim Thompson and wife Joan; sister, Patricia Thompson; nephews, Tim Thompson, Jr. and wife Kelley, Brian Thompson and wife Ali, David Thompson, Taylor Thompson and wife Sara, and Brandon Thompson.

Preceded in death by father, Ewing Moore “Tex” Thompson; mother, Geraine Thompson Burns; stepfather, Loren Burns and son, Tex E. Thompson, Jr.
