Simmons Thomas F. Age 83 passed away Saturday May 10th 2014. Thomas served in the Air Force from 1950 until 1954, where he specialized in Morse code. He worked at Southeast Bank and Trust for over 25 years, and worked for the state as an auditor for over 5 years before retiring. Bowling was one of Thomas’ passions in life. He excelled in bowling and carried a 190 average. Thomas was also an avid golfer and enjoyed playing golf with his son, Don. Thomas witnessed three hole in ones, that his son Don had at Hyde Park golf course and had a hole in one himself.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 60-years, Thelma Simmons, daughter Kathy Miles, Son-in-Law Ron Miles, son Don Simmons and two grandchildren, Karsten and Kindle Simmons. Private service only.
