Tommy was employed with Capital Concrete Co., later known as Florida Rock, from May 1959 - September 1978. He resigned in 1978 to pursue his career as an Owner/Operator for Nu Car Carriers, Dixie Auto Transport and Crowley Maritime Corp. for the next 20 years before retiring. Tommy expressed his love and emotions in a very unique way, being the only way he knew. He will be always remembered and greatly missed by all who knew him.
Tommy was survived by his wife of 63 years, Bertha Stefanik Rowe; two daughters, Judy Thornton(Glen Bechem) of Bryceville, FL and Lavonia (James) Caudle of St. Augustine, FL; 2 grand daughters, Montina(Matthew) Penland of Fernandina Beach, FL and Chastine Smith of Callahan; 3 great grandchildren, Mackenzie Luce (Denver), Blayze Padgett, Riley Smith, all of Callahan.
