

Troy Glenn Lamb, Jr., age 76, passed away on September 29, 2018. Troy was born on September 2, 1942 in Fitzgerald, Georgia to Troy Glenn Lamb, Sr. and Elizabeth Dillard Lamb. He was a graduate of Troy State University, where he played football and ran track. Sports, primarily football and golf, were Troy’s life and passion. He was a high school physical education coach and teacher for many years. Troy coached football and was a teacher at Andrew Jackson High School, Ed White High School, First Coast High School, and Baldwin High School. He received many awards and accolades throughout his teaching and coaching years. He impacted many lives by encouragement and inspiring others to be a champion. Troy was a family man. He loved his family, his fur babies, and loved his Lord and Savior. He was a member of Riverstone Community Church. Troy was a loving and faithful husband, father, grandfather, mentor, teacher, coach, and friend. He will be forever remembered by all who knew and loved him, and also by those who he encouraged to be a champion.
Troy is survived by his loving and faithful wife of 54 years, Teresa Lamb; his daughter, Lisa Lamb; grandson, Dylan Rountree; fur babies Max and Shiloh; and other extended family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 7673 Collins Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32244. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the church.
