Virginia Baker Jones, age 99 years, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on March 17, 2026. She was born in Kingston, NC on December 31, 1926. She married Nathan Forest Jones on February 11, 1948. She also worked in the restaurant business for many years.
Virginia is survived by three daughters, Brenda Whitehead; Janice Laughter (Ray Laughter) and Trish Newman (Keith Newman); two sons, Charlie Jones (Pam Jones) and Keith Jones (Kim Jones); also, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Forest Jones and son-in-law, Lamar Whitehead.
A Committal Service will be held at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205, March 21, 2026, at 1:00 pm.
