Wayne L. Holliday Jr.

October 12, 1961 - October 13, 2025

Wayne Lauder Holliday Jr. passed away peacefully at his home on October 13, 2025, one day after his 64th birthday, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Jacksonville, Florida, on October 12, 1961, Wayne was the son of the late Wayne L. Holliday Sr. and Mary Holliday.

Wayne's life was centered on his family, whom he cherished deeply. He had a deep appreciation for the outdoors, often spending time fishing, camping, crafting in his workshop and enjoying the tranquility of nature. He will also be remembered by all who knew him for his daily ritual of a strong cup of coffee. Wayne worked at Signature Flight Support for many years, where he developed many cherished friendships.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Barbara G. Holliday.

Wayne was a devoted father, grandfather and brother. He is survived by his children and their spouses/partners:

Sara Withrow and her significant other, Tim Flowers, and their children, Beckham R. Withrow, Joan L. Withrow, and Amanda O. Withrow. In addition to 4 Great-grandchildren.

Rose M. Craig and her husband, James C. Craig, and their children, Janelle R. Szymanski and Nicholas P. Szymanski.

John M. Hilliard and his wife, Brittini Hilliard, and their children, Wesley M. Hilliard and Landon C. Hilliard.

Katelyn V. Holliday and her significant other, Justin L. Koch, and their children, Thomas B. Holliday, Colton A. Koch, Rebecca G. Koch, and Chelsea E. Koch.

Kenneth D. Leverett (Godson) and his child, Thomas B. Holliday.

He is also survived by his sisters, Debbie Harvey (Paul) and Mary Ruth Sikes (Tim) and as well as many , nephews, nieces and cousin.

Wayne was preceded in death by his brothers, Vernon Toole (Phyllis) and Ray Toole.

A visitation will be held at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, located at 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205, on October 23, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

A Celebration of Life will take place at the same venue on October 24, 2025, at 10:00 am, followed by a committal at 11:00 am.
