He was one of four children born to the late Werner and Zena Scheibe and was the beloved husband of Irene Scheibe for 62 years. He will forever be remembered by his sisters Betty, Francis, Helen, his brother Robert, sons Henry and Brian, grandchildren Jim, April and Sarah, great grandchildren, Christian, Jonathan and Coleman, and countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know him. Among many of his favorite things, he loved listening to music, watching NASCAR and football, going to church, woodworking, and reading. However, his greatest pleasure was helping others. He never met a stranger.
Friends and family are invited to attend a service to celebrate his life on Friday, December 9th, 2011, at 10am at Terry Parker Baptist Church, 7024 Merrill Road, Jacksonville, FL 904-744-6577, Interment will be at Chapel Hills Memorial Gardens, 850 St. Johns Bluff Rd. N., Jacksonville, FL 904-641-9755 following the service.
