Woodrow Williams, Jr., an only son of adoptive parents, the late Posie and Woodrow Williams, Sr., was born October 6, 1958 and passed away May 3, 2015. During his teenage years and into adulthood he was parented by his stepmother, Zenobia F. Williams and father, the late Woodrow Williams, Sr.
He attended the public schools of Jacksonville and was a graduate of William M. Raines High School in the class of 1977. At Raines High School he was a member of ROTC and the Raines Debating Team. After graduation he attended Guard School where he completed training as a security guard.
He was employed with Gray’s Security Service for more than 12 years. His later employment with River City Security Guard Service was brief due to his illness.
